We’ve all been there, high above on the ladder, or stretched backward under the sink only to realize that the tool you need to fix whatever you’re fixing is the tool you don’t have. Before long you think that you’ll just use any old tool laying around the house but soon realize that the tool is just not the right one for the job which if used, could end up ruining other things.

Tools are engineered to perform specific tasks. Now it seems that asking a tool to go outside its comfort zone seems ok, but in reality, you’ll end up doing more damage than good. Sometimes the tool that you need will only be used once or twice in your lifetime, so does it make sense to run to the hardware store to invest hard earned money?
Probably not.
